Social Prescribing Northumberland: free event

, ,
The Covid-19 pandemic has increased isolation for many people, amplifying concerns about the impact on mental health. The role of social prescribing in linking people to non-clinical community services as we move out of the pandemic will become more important than ever.

Find out more about social prescribing, what it is, how it works and how it can benefit our health and wellbeing at this free online event from Healthwatch Northumberland. Tania Thomas of the West Northumberland Living Well Coordination (social prescribing) Service will be presenting about the service, how it helps individuals and how you can refer to the service.

The event takes place on Friday 11 February from 1.00pm to 2.00pm. It is for people who live or work in Northumberland who are interested in improving their health and wellbeing or that of others.

There will also be a chance to ask questions.
