Wheelchair loan service
We provide a wheelchair loan service, perfect for if you need to borrow one for a short period, or you are visiting the local area. Our wheelchairs and mobility aids can be borrowed for up to one month.
To use this service, you must become a member of Adapt (NE). For an individual, this costs £10. You can become a member when picking up your wheelchair. Payment can be made by cash or card. Donations are also very much welcome and help support and sustain the operation of the wheelchair loan service. An insurance declaration form must also be filled out during collection.
