Join our team: NHS Complaints Advocate
We’re recruiting for an Independent NHS Complaints Advocate to join the Northumberland Independent Advocacy Service, to provide Independent Health Complaints Advocacy for people living in Northumberland.
We deliver statutory Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA), Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA), Care Act Advocacy and NHS Complaints Advocacy under contract to Northumberland County Council. The service also provides RPR (Relevant Person’s Representative) and Court of Protection Rule 1.2 representatives. More Information at our Advocacy Page.
Hours: part-time – 21 hrs per week
Salary: £12,831 per annum
Based: Hexham (with potential for flexibility around working arrangements)
The role involves supporting individuals to make a complaint in relation to healthcare services. We are looking to recruit a caring, empathetic individual who can listen, understand and support individuals.
A background of supporting individuals / customer service would be an advantage however full training and support will be provided. Please see the Job Description/Person Specification below.
